20-Weeks!

More than half way there and this little guy is starting to move around. He's not nearly as active as Alana was but it could be that it's still early although when he does kick it's a lot stronger. Either way it's assuring that things are going well with every little kick. Jon and I have been going back and forth with names from Xavier, Dominic, Marek to Joesph - but can't quite agree on anything just yet so for now he'll just be 'my little guy.' This week he's about the size of a cantaloupe and it's becoming more apparent in my belly! Here are this weeks belly bump pics:

It's a BOY!!!

I was so excited to learn that we are having a BOY today! Everything looks good and he's growing just fine! They moved my due date from May 4th back to May 7th which was my original prediction anyways. However given my track record with Alana coming 2-weeks early there's a good chance this kid will come in late April...I can't wait!

Pregnant...not just Fat!

Today was the first time someone asked how far along I was and it happened TWICE! It's nice to know I'm starting to get an actual baby bump and not just look like I at too much at Thanksgiving! I'll be 5-months next week so I guess that's about right...time is starting to go by fast but I can't wait!

Alana's Christmas Wish

We took Alana to see Santa today and while waiting in line I was letting her know that she had to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas. To give her some ideas I told her to as for new books and toys but...she had her own idea. When she got to Santa she told him she wanted "a baby brother" - it was / is super cute but I hope I can deliver! We still have about 3.5 weeks before we find out, I really do think it's a boy and Alana certainly has her mind set on having a brother so we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed! 16-Weeks!

Wow, I can't believe I'm already 4-months along! We find out next month whether it's a boy or girl but because it's been such a different pregnancy I'm really thinking it's a boy this time. Oh and the good news is that I'm feeling normal again - well as normal as it gets when you have a little person growing inside you. The baby is about the size of an avocado this month and is definitely starting to create a little baby bump...check out this weeks pics:

12-Weeks!

I am 12-weeks today...still not feeling great. I guess you can call it morning sickness but it feels much different than how I felt with Alana. It's more of a feeling you get when you go to your favorite restaurant but eat too much but the funny thing is I'm barely eating at all these days! Hopefully it will pass soon...I'm feeling bad that I'm not eating enough!

10-Weeks Today

I am 10-weeks today and definitely starting to get a pot belly and the baby is about the size of a small plum.  I haven't fit in my clothes since I hit my 7-week mark so that is making me wonder even more if there are two in there! I am in a constant feeling of 'blah' feeling bloated and uncomfortable but I suppose it's better than the morning (or all-day) sickness that I had with Alana. But today was definitely a 'fat' day as I wasn't fitting in even my bigger, looser clothes and all of my maternity clothes look old and worn so I'm looking forward to going shopping this evening with Shana in hopes to find something new. Hopefully I can make it through the end of the day, I'm exhausted! This baby making thing is not easy! =)

Two Sacs!?!

That's right, the doctor found two sacs at today's appointment - so does that mean I'm having twins? Not necessarily. For now the doctor was able to find at least one health baby and heartbeat which is good and the other sac looks empty. But there could still be two...the doctor said we'll just have to wait until my next appointment to be sure. In the meantime I'll keep my fingers crossed!

In the meantime I'm happy to see one healthy baby starting to grow - check it out! Oh and my due date has been moved up a few days to May 4th!

Seven Weeks and Feelin' It

I am seven-weeks pregnant this weekend and am starting to feel that way. I thought I was getting out easy for a while since I just had a few days of being bloated and a few cravings and food aversions but today I have been plagued with the ALL DAY morning sickness bug.  Also my clothes are definitely fitting tighter and I'm feeling exhausted. With that I'm hitting the sack but wanted to document where things are up to this point. Only 33 more weeks to go (or 31 if history has any say in it!).

I'm Pregnant!

What happens in Vegas will be debuting 9-months later!

I found out last week. What happen was I actually took the test on Monday, August 30th but didn't do it right. It was one of those digital ones and I put the applicator in the wrong way leaving me with an invalid result. Although the digital 'Pregnant' word didn't pop up, the two blue lines left me suspicious. Unfortunately that was my last pregnancy test and I was too lazy to run to the store.

The next day at a playdate with Sumaya, Bahar, Roya and Norys I shared what had happened leaving all the girls in a state of excitement at the possibility. We just had to know now! So Norys ran to the store to get the test...not even a minute after I tinkled, there was no doubt! I stormed out of the bathroom and shared the news and we all jumped up and down in excitement! I have had a hard time thinking about anything else since!
