24-Weeks - Third Trimester!!

I can't believe I'm entering the third trimester already...time seems to be flying!  So far this pregnancy has proven to be very different than my first. I've been having soreness in my arms/legs which the doctor said is due to muscle fatigue and I've been told to slow things down and not pick-up Alana anymore. =(  Also my appetite is still very iffy - sometimes it's hard to find something that sounds appetizing and it's really hard to keep my choices healthy - hopefully my prenatal vitamin will ensure that baby boy Brill has everything he needs! We Bought a House!

In preparation of the new baby Jon and I have been exploring our housing options and have decided to buy a  new house. Well, the bid we placed last night was approved this morning! It's only a few blocks from where we currently live - and in the right direction as I am now a few blocks closer to the mall and Santana Row! It's a nice house with 3-bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a huge backyard and a hot tub in the back! But the most important part is the extra bedroom which give us enough rooms for our growing family and I've already been planning in anticipation of decorating the baby's room. 20-Weeks!

More than half way there and this little guy is starting to move around. He's not nearly as active as Alana was but it could be that it's still early although when he does kick it's a lot stronger. Either way it's assuring that things are going well with every little kick. Jon and I have been going back and forth with names from Xavier, Dominic, Marek to Joesph - but can't quite agree on anything just yet so for now he'll just be 'my little guy.' This week he's about the size of a cantaloupe and it's becoming more apparent in my belly! Here are this weeks belly bump pics:

It's a BOY!!!

I was so excited to learn that we are having a BOY today! Everything looks good and he's growing just fine! They moved my due date from May 4th back to May 7th which was my original prediction anyways. However given my track record with Alana coming 2-weeks early there's a good chance this kid will come in late April...I can't wait!

Pregnant...not just Fat!

Today was the first time someone asked how far along I was and it happened TWICE! It's nice to know I'm starting to get an actual baby bump and not just look like I at too much at Thanksgiving! I'll be 5-months next week so I guess that's about right...time is starting to go by fast but I can't wait!

Alana's Christmas Wish

We took Alana to see Santa today and while waiting in line I was letting her know that she had to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas. To give her some ideas I told her to as for new books and toys but...she had her own idea. When she got to Santa she told him she wanted "a baby brother" - it was / is super cute but I hope I can deliver! We still have about 3.5 weeks before we find out, I really do think it's a boy and Alana certainly has her mind set on having a brother so we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed! 16-Weeks!

Wow, I can't believe I'm already 4-months along! We find out next month whether it's a boy or girl but because it's been such a different pregnancy I'm really thinking it's a boy this time. Oh and the good news is that I'm feeling normal again - well as normal as it gets when you have a little person growing inside you. The baby is about the size of an avocado this month and is definitely starting to create a little baby bump...check out this weeks pics:
